The Helium compressor is the “engine” of MRI cryogenic systems. Its purpose is to deliver pure oil free helium to the Coldhead 24 hours per day. To ensure that this happens, each compressor undergoes our comprehensive re-build process. All electrical components, contactors, control boards and overload sensors are tested. The specialized oil undergoes a purification process to eliminate any moisture. Cryogenic systems require 99.999% pure helium. We test each compressor under simulated field conditions for 30 hours. After enduring our comprehensive testing, the Compressor is refurbished inside and out. We supply you with a unit from our stock while we repair yours. We guarantee your satisfaction with a 12 month warranty.
